Oak Terrace held its first annual Twins celebration Thursday, thanks to a donation made by the family of former resident Elsie Luff. Luff, who died in May at the age of 108, was an avid Twins fan. The celebration will be held annually in August, because her birthday was in August. Pictured above, from left to right, are Luff's niece, Pauline Wiemann; Francis Strobel, vice president of the resident's council; and Dorothy Teschmiller, president of the resident's council. The celebration included a video tour of Target Field, Dairy Queen cake, and musical entertainment. Luff's family also donated money to refurbish the Oak Terrace courtyard, for a canopy and the creation of the Luff Memorial Garden.
