Ducks on Lake Titloe

Ducks on Lake Titloe may have delayed their migration Tuesday as central and northern Minnesota was blasted with a spring storm which dropped 4”-8” of snow. There were only flurries in the Gaylord area but gusty northwest winds and cooler than normal temperatures followed. The weather is quite a contrast from a week ago when temperatures reached nearly 80-degrees throughout Minnesota. That warm weather claimed the ice on Lake Titloe, approximately two weeks earlier than the normal “ice out” date.
