Memorial Day – Gaylord

Gaylord’s Manthey-Asmus American Legion Post and Auxiliary will lead the Memorial Day program in Gaylord. The program will be held at the Veterans’ Memorial in the City Park at 10 a.m. The public is invited. Bring your own lawn chairs.
The Rev. Fredric Hinz of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Gaylord, will be the featured speaker.
Francis Lawrenz, William Greve, and the late James Deis will be presented certificates for 50 years of membership in the American Legion. The Sibley East Junior High Band will play patriotic selections.
In case of inclement weather, the Memorial Day observance will be held in the Legion Auditorium.
Prior to the Gaylord program, Memorial Day observances will be held by the Gaylord squad at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at 9 a.m. and Norwegian Grove Cemetery at 9:30 a.m.
