Gaylord’s Manthey-Asmus Legion Post and Auxiliary is sponsoring its annual all-you-can-eat fish fry Friday at the Legion Club. The public is invited.
The menu includes deep fried fish, home-made potato salad, cole slaw, bread and beverage. The price is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12. There is no charge for children five and under.
Take out orders are available for $10 each. Containers will be provided.

Nine area fire departments will be competing in the second annual Sibley County Fire Chiefs Association cook-off Saturday from 3- 6 p.m. at the Gaylord Fire Hall.
“Come and have a good time and support the Chief’s Association,” said Gaylord Fire Chief Dean Schons.
The public is invited. The cost is $5 at the door. The public’s vote decides the winner.
Proceeds will be used to maintain and equip the Sibley County air van.
Fire departments from Sibley County, along with Le Sueur, Hamburg, and Belle Plaine, will be participating.

Immanuel Lutheran Church
All men and boys from the Gaylord community are welcome to attend Lenten Breakfasts at Gaylord churches on Thursday mornings during the season of Lent.
A breakfast will be served by men from the host church starting at 7 a.m. A service led by the host pastor will be offered from 7:30-7:50 a.m.
The devotional theme this year is “The Petitions of the Lord’s Prayer.”
