PROPOSED FEEDLOT

NOTICE is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 215, that High Point Farms LLC has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the county of Sibley for a permit to construct a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.

The proposed feedlot will be located in the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 22, Sibley Township, Sibley County, Minnesota. The Proposed feedlot facility is designed to house up to 2488 head of finishing swine for a total of 746.4 animal units.

The proposed facility consists of 1 confinement barn (41 feet x 506 feet). The barn has a concrete pit that is the length of the barn and 8 feet deep to hold manure generated by the finishing swine. The total animal unit capacity will be 746.4 animal units.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
