Sibley East activity passes increase; most fees stay the same

In order to be in line with admission costs charged by the Minnesota River Conference, Sibley East’s activity passes will increase in 2010-2011.

Adult passes will increase from $50 to $60. Student passes will increase from $20 to $25. Family passes for two adults and two students will increase from $120 to $150.

Admission to athletic events will be $6 for adults and $4 for students, a $1 increase from last year.

Activity fees will be the same as last year, except fees will be added for knowledge bowl and DECA. Activities, such as plays,DECA, knowledge bowl, speech, jazz band and swing choir, will have $25 fees. The fee for varsity sports, excluding soccer, is $100. Junior High sports and cheerleading (excluding soccer) will have an $80 fee. Varsity and Junior High soccer fees are to be determined.

Reduced fees for varsity sports, excluding soccer, are $70 for reduced lunch and $35 for free lunch. Reduced fees for Junior High sports and cheerleading are $55 for reduced lunch and $30 for free lunch. There is no reduced fee for soccer participants.

The family maximum for athletics is $400, excluding fees paid for soccer and activities.
