Are you a member of the Sibley East Booster Club? If so, you are encouraged to attend the Booster Club meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 1st at Sibley East’s Arlington campus. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Individual and business members of the booster club are welcome at all meetings. Prospective members are also welcome to attend.

The booster club board is making an extra effort this month to get members more involved. An effort is also being made to get business members of the club more exposure.

In an attempt to get more members to attend Tuesday’s meeting, the club is making this offer – any member that brings along a friend who joins the club that night will get a free gift.

Sibley East’s Booster Club is in its second year. The club currently has approximately 80 members.

Promoting Area Wolverine Spirit (PAWS) is the theme used by the Sibley East Booster Club. The booster club’s purpose is to support and promote all activities and groups at the Sibley East Junior and Senior High by uniting the efforts of students, parents, coaches, faculty, staff and community in a way that enhances the sharing of school spirit, and provides moral as well as financial support.

It is a goal of the booster club to be an organization which serves as a support group for all athletics and extra-curricular activities that pay an activity fee at Sibley East. This organization would be comprised of parents, teachers, coaches, administration, community members and alumni.

A family membership to the booster club is $25. Contributions of more than $25 may be directed to a certain sport or group activity. A family membership also allows parents to attend the meetings of the Booster Club and cast a single vote for Officers of the Club.

There are three levels of Business memberships to the booster club:

• A Gold Level member pays $100 per year. A Gold Level member receives a PAWS window decal, a pocket calendar, and a “Gold Member” T-Shirt or wall plaque;

• A Black Level member pays $50 per year and receives a PAWS window decal and pocket calendar;

• A White Level member pays $25 per year and receives a PAWS decal;
