We are nearing the end of another summer of fun here at the Gaylord Pool. It’s a bittersweet time of year. The fun down here is ending and yet the promise of an exciting school year draws near! Yup, it’s “back to” time and before you all head back to school, you all should plan to come “back to” our pool for at least one more swim before we close our doors!
The schedule from now through Labor Day is dependent upon having lifeguards available to work. Right now I know that we will be able to be open for our afternoon hours at least (1:15 to 4 p.m.) Nights are debatable and depend upon the weather. (Always call 237-2266 and ask.)
However, this Friday night, September 2nd, my staff has already informed me that NO one can work! They are all going to the first football game of the season as they tangle with GFW over in Winthrop. This is O.K. They will all go to the football game and I will return to the Amateur Baseball tournament over at Walsh Field!
LABOR DAY WEEK-END
And so, here comes the Labor Day week-end. We will be here waiting for YOU! All day Saturday, and Sunday and then on Monday! Our hours on Monday will be: 1-3 p.m. ONLY. Plan ahead! Summer is waning and we want to see you at least one more time before this summer comes to an end down here!
