Commissioners keep salaries the same for 2010

July 2nd, 2009

Sibley County Commissioners have held the line on their salaries for 2010.

County Commissioners, last week, unanimously kept their annual salaries the same for next year, by setting it at $23,179.07/year. Commissioners will receive no annual adjustment, formerly known as cost-of-living adjustment, and no annual step increase.

County Commissioners also unanimously supported a resolution to seek state bonding money for the Minnesota Valley Regional Rail Authority Rail Rehabilitation and Capital Improvement Project.

The Rail Authority is seeking $10 million in the 2010 bonding bill.
