Memorial Day – New Auburn

New Auburn VFW Post 7266 and its Ladies Auxiliary will lead a Memorial Day program at 11 a.m. at High Island Cemetery. Those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs.
A welcome will be given by VFW Post Commander Willard Grack. An invocation will be provided by Anthony Deno.
Lisa Klenk, Sibley County’s Veterans Service Officer, will be the featured speaker.
Musical selections will be provided by Glencoe-Silver Lake High School students.
VFW Post members will provide a symbolic tribute. Phyllis Schwanke, Auxiliary president, will place a wreath. The roll call of deceased veterans will be read by Amy Eustis, Post Chaplain.
A military tribute will be provided by the New Auburn VFW rifle squad. Taps will be played by Glencoe-Silver Lake High School students.
