SE to host student teachers from Gustavus
December 24th, 2008Although Sibley East has hosted student-teachers from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Sibley East Elementary in Gaylord will be hosting nine student-teachers from Gustavus Adolphus College next semester.
According to Principal Mari Lu Martens, the student-teachers will be working in Grades 2-6.
Martens said that Debra Sandquist, Gustavus’ educational specialist, was impressed with the work the district is doing with English Language Learners and how the district was meeting the students’ needs.
