Doloris Abraham – 86

Doloris Abraham, 86, of Gaylord, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm. Funeral service was on Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Fredric Hinz officiated.

Doloris Martha Grochow was born on May 17, 1922 to Paul and Alvina (Schauer) Grochow in Winthrop. She was united in marriage to Harry Abraham on September 28, 1944 in Minneapolis.
Doloris was a farm wife and homemaker and she also worked for Finger Hut.

Doloris enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord.

Doloris is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Cobb and special friend, Rodney Oppegard both of Brooklyn Park; sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Linda Abraham of New Ulm and Dan and Diane Abraham of New Ulm; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; brother, Melvin Grochow of Dassel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Abraham on December 12, 1997; sister and brothers-in-law, Luella and Arnold Bauer, Evelyn and John Opitz; sister-in-law, Lorraine Grochow.
