Sealed bids will be received by the County of Sibley, Minnesota, in the Public Works Office at 111 8th Street PO Box 897, Gaylord, Minnesota 55334-0897 until 4:30 P.M., on December 5, 2008, at which place and time they will be publicly opened by two or more persons who have been designated by the County to open bids. Bids are for the following:

a) The 2009 season’s supply of unleaded with Ethanol Gasoline and Number One and Premium Diesel Fuel. A separate bid must be made for the delivery to each maintenance shop as follows:

District 1 – Henderson, Green Isle and County Gravel Pit
District 2 – Arlington
District 3 – Gaylord
District 4 – Winthrop
District 5 – Gibbon

b) The supply of LP Gas for 2009 for the heating of the County

buildings in District 1 and District 3.
Approximate quantities are as follows:
Diesel Fuel – 70,000 Gallons
Unleaded Gasoline – 16,500 Gallons
LP Gas – 800 Gallons

Specifications and Bid forms may be obtained at the Public Works Office. Award will be based on lowest unit price received for a product for a location. The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any defects. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond, made payable to the County Treasurer, in the amount of $200.00.
