To the Editor:
October 23rd, 2008We are rapidly approaching Election Day which should be an important day in the life of every American Citizen. Our voice needs to be heard and counted not only for the individuals campaigning for the national election but also for the individuals running for office locally. Therefore, I would like to encourage you to cast your vote for Dan Uecker for Commissioner in the Third District.
Dan is a quiet sort of guy, never speaking out of turn, always listening to what others are saying, thinking before he speaks and when he does speak, you can be sure that he has thought well about what he is saying. I know him as having a level head on his shoulders and he does not make a decision without thinking the subject through.
Dan, having grown up in Gaylord and having had his own business in finance for over twenty years, realizes the growing pains of a small community and understands the financial difficulties that go with it.
Dan is a family man and never hesitates to help those outside of his immediate family. I know this first hand. He has been active in various offices within the church and has been the Associate Advisor for the Sibley County Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Board. Dan has had a growing interest in our local government. With grown-up children and few commitments at this time, let’s give Dan the opportunity to use his abilities and talents to work for what’s best in our county. Support Dan Uecker in the upcoming election!
