Junior High Knowledge Bowl to meet Monday
September 25th, 2008Sibley East Junior High School will be holding its first Knowledge Bowl meeting Monday, Sept. 29 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Warzecha’s room, #110, at the Gaylord campus.
Students who enjoy academic competition and who would represent the school well are asked to sign up with one of the coaches.
The first meeting will be held to inform students about Knowledge Bowl and to introduce them to what the competition is like.
Knowledge Bowl practices are held Mondays from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Sibley East Junior High plans to enter four teams into the invitational meets. There will be four invitational meets, a sub-regional meet, and a regional meet.
In the past, Sibley East has had 35 - 45 students participate in the program. Sibley East Junior High Knowledge Bowl will be coached by Mrs. Louwagie, Mrs. Warzecha, and Mrs. Thom.
