Another Sibley East Wolverine Booster Club membership meeting is planned for Sunday, July 27th at the Arlington campus. The meeting will be held on the pool patio beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Support and promote all activities. That is the goal of the Sibley East Wolverine Booster Club set to be in operation for the 2008-2009 school year.

Anyone interested in being involved with the Booster Club is encouraged to attend Sunday’s meeting, according to school board members Anne Karl. Memberships will also be accepted that evening, she explained.

A not-for-profit organization, the Sibley East Booster Club would support and promote all activities at the Sibley East Senior and Junior High schools. According to Karl, the hope is that the club is an organization of parents, teachers, administration, coaches and community members who support athletics and extra-curricular activities (that pay an activity fee).

The club would make an effort to enhance school spirit among the three communities as well as providing moral and financial support, Karl explained. Another goal of the Booster Club is to get all of the school’s fundraising activity “under one roof,” according to Karl.
