Gaylord and New Auburn to host 4th of July festivities
July 3rd, 2008Gaylord and New Auburn are both having special activities for the July 4 holiday.
Gaylord Legion Post 433 will be serving a chicken dinner Thursday, July 3 from 3 – 8 p.m. Take outs are available. Bring your own containers. There will also be a drawing for a big screen TV at 9 p.m.
New Auburn organizations are holding celebrations at High Island Lake July 3 and 4.
New Auburn’s Fire Department Relief Association is serving a pork chop dinner from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Music will be provided by “Blurred Vision” from 7 – 11 p.m.
On July 4, New Auburn VFW Post 7266 will host bingo from 2 – 5 p.m. Music will be provided by the Don & Betty Band from 5 – 9:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
There will be fireworks at dusk, sponsored by New Auburn VFW Post 7266. There will also be a Pheasants Forever print raffle.
