Financial advisory committee established
June 26th, 2008Gaylord now has a financial advisory committee. The City Council, on Wednesday, approved a seven member committee which will assist in the general oversight of City finances.
According to City Administrator Kevin McCann, the financial advisory committee will help implement and maintain the City’s capital improvement plan.
Chuck Klimmek, president of Gaylord’s Economic Development Authority, proposed establishing the financial advisory committee. He foresees the group developing funding plans for capital improvement projects.
McCann and Klimmek with both serve on the financial advisory committee. Other members will include council member Jessica Uecker and Gaylord citizens Sheldon Goetsch, Phil Keithahn, Tiffany Rodning and Tom Homme.
