Sibley East’s Board of Education completed some required preparation for the school board election November 4.

The Board of Education approved resolutions establishing dates for filing Affidavits of Candidacy for school board members, and officially called for the school board election.

Three seats on the Sibley East Board of Education will be placed on the general election ballot. The seats are currently held by Brian Asmus, Tim Dolan, and Jodi Hanson.

Filing opens July 1, and will close July 15.

A primary election, if required, will be held September 9. The general election will be held November 4.
