Revenue above expenses in major county funds
January 31st, 2008Revenue exceeded expenditures in the four major Sibley County funds at the close of 2007, according to Auditor Lisa Pfarr.
Pfarr presented the report to County Commissioners Jan. 22.
Revenue in the general revenue fund exceeded expenditures by $880,095. Revenue totaled $8,592,330, while expenditures totaled $7,712,235. The general revenue budget was $8,059,603.
Revenue in the Road and Bridge Fund exceeded expenditures by $699,386. Revenue totaled $6,496,414, while expenditures totaled $5,797,028. The Road and Bridge Fund budget was $4,921,952.
In the Human Services Fund, revenue exceeded expenditures by $684,033. Revenue totaled $4,298,487, while expenses totaled $3,614,454. The budget for the Human Services Fund was $3,852,071.
In the County’s Debt Service Fund, revenue exceeded expenses by $23,527. Revenue totaled $625,841, while expenses totaled $602,315. The budget was $637,940.
