This was the whitest Christmas in more than 50 years, according to weather forecasters. A snow-filled December is closing with a flurry. The Gaylord area received approximately five-inches of fluffy snow Christmas Day and more is predicted for the end of this week. While December has been colder than normal, a warm up is predicted for next month. Forecasters are predicting temperatures in the 30’s and maybe even 40 for the second week in January.
