Sale of Lakeview Home scheduled for Thursday
November 29th, 2007A closing date for the sale of Lakeview Homes is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, November 29.
According to Lakeview Home interim administrator Mary Nell Zellner, the paper-signing is scheduled in Minneapolis on Thursday, with the new owners, Mick Montag and Dennis Hood, to take over ownership December 1.
The City had previously allowed the future owners to remove approximately nine trees on the north side of the building to prepare for expansion. Mayor Doug Quast, this week, allowed the new owners to begin hauling black dirt from the property, Zellner said.
Gaylord’s Planning and Zoning Commission, Monday night, approved the conditional use permit required for the expansion.
Lakeview Homes, in the month of October, had a profit of more than $46,000, Zellner reported. Lakeview Home had 98% occupancy.
Zellner’s duties as interim administrator are tentatively scheduled to conclude Friday. She will continue to consult for the city occasionally to help “close the books” on the city-owned facilities.
