30 applications received for City Administrator post

November 22nd, 2007

The City of Gaylord recently reported that there are 30 candidates for the City Administrator position.

A few months ago, the City hired The Brimeyer Group, of Hopkins, to assist in the search for a new administrator. Gaylord has been without an administrator since July when Lonny Johnson filed a separation of employment agreement with the City.

Acting City Administrator Lori Waltz reported last week that The Brimeyer Group will now select 10-12 candidates to be interviewed. The City Council is scheduled to interview those candidates next month. A new administrator is scheduled to be on board in January, Waltz explained.
