An effort to clean up Lake Titloe will continue this week. Jim Swanson, chairman of the Lake Titloe Committee, will speak to the Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee on Thursday in an attempt to seek funding for clean up efforts.

The City of Gaylord is requesting funds for a project which would divert storm water, which currently runs into the lake, to the storm water pond. Funds are also being sought for a holding pond project in the Lake Titloe watershed. On behalf of the City, Swanson made a similar funding request to the Senate Committee in September.
