Water Treatment Plant and Water Tower open House

Seventy-five people attended an open house Saturday afternoon at the Water Treatment Plant and Water Tower in New Auburn. Above, New Auburn Mayor Roger Becker (right) visited with John Graupman (left), engineer with Bolten and Menk, and Gerald Woodley (center), Mankato representative from Sen. Norm Coleman’s office. The Water Treatment Facility cost $950,000, while the Water Tower cost $439,000. Construction of the new facilities began in June 2006 and was completed in June 2007.

New Auburn may receive $300,000 from feds for water treatment

Heartland Corn Products tour

Heartland Corn Products gave a tour of its new ethanol plant to the Minnesota Valley Regional Rail Authority following its meeting there on Wednesday, June 20. Heartland Corn Products is shipping ethanol and dried distiller’s grain on the Minnesota Prairie Line.
