Lake Titloe group to speak before legislative committee

February 22nd, 2007

The Lake Titloe Cleanup Bill for approximately $450,000 will be heard in a committee hearing Tuesday afternoon, February 27, according to Jim Swanson, chairman of the Lake Titloe Beautification Committee. Swanson was notified of the upcoming committee hearing by Rep. Terry Morrow of St. Peter.

Members of the Lake Titloe Committee will be given the opportunity to speak about the lake’s condition, the tests that have been run on the water, and plans to clean it up. Committee members have been invited to attend and speak.

Swanson said he also hopes to have a representative from the City of Gaylord and Minnesota State University speak at the committee hearing.
