Thursday, Gene Frankamp returned home from the hospital after having had open heart surgery in Rochester. He spent 7 days in Rochester and 9 days in St. Peter. Well wishes to Gene.

Saturday, many from the surrounding area of New Sweden, Norseland, St. Peter, Gaylord, Arlington, attended the Doehling-Haeldt wedding in St. James and the reception after at George’s Ballroom in New Ulm.

Stan and Marge Halverson of St. Peter attended the funeral of their daughter-in-law, son Ted’s wife on Monday. She was 48 years old and the funeral was in Paynesville.

Mayme Renneke has moved in to the Oak Terrrace apartments in Gaylord in October from the Amberfield Apartments. Mayme entertained the Monday Morning Friendship Club on Monday.

Monday, was such a beautiful day because Terri Schutte of Winthrop brought Lola and Barney a delicious supper. Thanks for daughters!!

Last Sunday afternoon, Lorna Holz visited with Duane and Marilyn Olmanson bringing supper for them.

On Thursday, Nov. 9th, Jeremy and Jeannie Reed of New Ulm became the parents of a daughter they called Brooklyn. This makes 16 great grandchildren for Oliver and Mary Compart. Congratulations to all!

Jared Annexstad graduated from Officer Candidate School at Fort Lewis, WA. and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt in the U.S. Army National Guard. Jared is the son of Grant and Karen Annexstad of Norseland. Jared graduated from St. Peter High School in 2002 and received a Bachelor’s degree in 2006 from St. Cloud University.
