FFA Corn Drive

On Wednesday October 18, 2006 the Sibley East FFA Chapter held its annual Corn Drive for Camp Courage. Donations of both corn and money were contributed by local businesses and farmers. This year the chapter collected $4200. In the past years, an average of $3,000 was collected making this year an outstanding accomplishment. Over the past years, the Sibley East School area has donated over $80,000. These generous donations are given to Camp Courage-a summer camp held for disabled children. Each and every dollar given to the Corn Drive is greatly appreciated and effective, according to FFA advisors Jeff Eppen and Tim Uhlenkamp.
