Lorraine Arnold – 75
October 4th, 2006Lorraine (Tollefson) Arnold passed away on September 16, 2006, at her home in Wildomar, California. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2006, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gaylord.
Pearl Lorraine Arnold was born on September 12, 1931, in Gaylord. She was the daughter of Theodore and Martha (Syversrud) Tollefson. She attended school in Gaylord and graduated from the Gaylord High School class of 1950. Lorraine lived and worked in Minneapolis, Texas and in 1953 she moved to California where she made her home.
On November 1, 1958, Lorraine was united in marriage to Charles Arnold. This marriage was blessed with three children. Lorraine and Charles shared 47 years of marriage.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Charles Arnold of Wildomar, CA; children, Lynda Luttrell and her husband Jim of Northern California, Craig Arnold and his wife, Lynette of Huntsville, Alabama, and Lisa Bethke and her husband, James of Wildomar, California; grandchildren, Ashley Arnold, Tiffany Arnold, Analisa Arnold, Brooke Arnold, Vincent Arnold, Blake Arnold, Danielle Bethke, Jessica Bethke, and Andrew Bethke; siblings, Chester Tollefson and his wife, Gladys of Anoka, Wallace Tollefson and his wife, Darlene of Gaylord, Elaine Wahlin and her husband, Irwin of Stillwater, Lloyd Tollefson and his wife, Pat of Willmar, Glenn Tollefson and his wife, Marian of Minnetonka, Marion Pomplun and her husband, Erwin of Gaylord; step-brother, Simon Dumitres of Mesa, Arizona; sister-in-law, Betty Carlson of New Ulm; aunt, Gladys Borgen of Thief River Falls, MN; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Martha Tollefson; brothers, Kenneth Tollefson and his wife, June, Marvin Tollefson and Roger Tollefson; brother-in-law, Willard Dietz; nephews and nieces, Dwight Tollefson, Merlin Tollefson, twin nephews Lonny and Donny Tollefson, Loring Tollefosn, Kathleen Tollefson, Keith Dietz, and Mary Dumitres.
